Cookie Policy
A clear account of the cookies we use, why, and how to control them. No dark patterns.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time — for example, that you have already chosen your cookie settings. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and similar identifiers. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these unless we say otherwise.
2. Why we use them
We use cookies only to the extent needed to run a fast, safe, and useful site. We do not use advertising cookies that follow you across unrelated websites, and we do not sell or share personal data for cross-site advertising.
3. Categories we use
- Essential. Required for the site to function: security, load balancing, and remembering your consent choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences. Remember choices you make on the site (such as your cookie settings) so you are not asked again on the same device.
- Analytics. Privacy-respecting, aggregated statistics about which pages are visited and how the site performs. These help us improve, and are not used to identify you individually for advertising.
- Marketing. Used only if we run campaign or advertising measurement. We do not use marketing cookies today; if we do, they load only after you opt in.
4. Consent and your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences by category. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), we do not set non-essential cookies until you consent. Your choice is stored on your device and can be changed at any time.
To review or change your choice, open Cookie settings in the footer, or clear this site's cookies in your browser to see the banner again.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because the exact steps differ by browser and device, the most reliable path is to search your browser's help pages for "manage cookies." Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
6. Third-party cookies
We keep third-party cookies to a minimum. Any analytics or measurement tool we enable processes data on our instructions and under the same privacy commitments in our Privacy Policy. We do not allow third parties to use cookies set through our site for their own independent advertising.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new "last updated" date below, and — where required — we will request consent again for any new non-essential category.
